All dogs 4 months old or older must have a dog license. If you have any questions regarding a dog license, you may call the Chino Valley Animal Shelter at 928-636-4223 Option 7. Prescott Dog LicenSing
LOCATED IN PRESCOTT. SERVES Yavapai County. a resource of The Yavapai Humane Society.
All dog owners are required to license their dogs within 60 days of moving to the city. Licenses are $6 per year for each dog that has been spayed or neutered, $30 per year for dogs that have not been spayed or neutered. Payments for licenses are due on or before January 1 of each year. City of Prescott dog licensing may be obtained at the Prescott Police Department, Prescott City Hall, Yavapai Humane Society, and almost any veterinarian office located in the city. Please note that Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Yavapai County do have their own licensing for the areas they service.

Prescott Valley Dog LicenSing

Dogs are the only pets requiring licenses in the Town of Prescott Valley. A current rabies vaccine is needed to license your dog, and only a licensed veterinarian can administer the vaccine. Once the dog has been vaccinated you will need the Rabies Vaccine Certification. See website for more information on prices and how to obtain the license.

Yavapai County Dog LicenSing
LOCATED IN Yavapai County. SERVES Yavapai County. a resource of Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
Arizona State Statute 11-1008 Dog license requirements for the unincorporated areas of Yavapai County Dog licenses can be renewed annually or purchased up to three years in conjunction with your rabies vaccination. Dogs 3 months of age and older must be vaccinated for the rabies virus by a DVM and wear a current Yavapai County Dog License. (Dog licenses are available annually). Dog licenses may be purchased from the Yavapai Humane Society, YCSO Locations, and low-cost spay and neuter clinics.
