Magistrate Court

The Magistrate Court, also known as the Municipal Court, handles misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic offenses, limited juvenile matters, and petitions for Orders of Protection and Injunctions Against Harassment within Prescott Valley. The court offers deferral programs like Defensive Driving School (DDS) and pre-trial diversion for eligible defendants to encourage avoiding future legal issues. Programs addressing substance abuse, domestic violence, and theft are also available. The court collaborates with other judicial bodies and can schedule after-hours proceedings when necessary.

Drug disposal: Prescott Police offers an area to dispose of RX and OTC drugs. Remove your pills, capsules, and tablets from their containers and place them in a Ziploc bag.
