Teen Advisory Group

Located in Prescott. Serves YAVAPAI COUNTY. a resource of Prescott Public Library.

Get involved in your library and community by joining Prescott Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG)! TAG members plan and host library events for kids and teens as well as seek out service opportunities in the community. TAG is for teens in grades 6-12.

Teen Clubs and Summer Camps

Located in Prescott. Serves Quad Cities. a resource of The Launch Pad Teen Center.

The Launch Pad builds teen confidence and empowerment through innovative community education and engagement. We provide mentorship, for teens 12 - 18, in the form of Mentorship Circles, which take place in certain Schools in the County and create opportunities for honest conversation between peers with a focus on listening, accepting, encouraging, and developing emotional literacy. We also offer Academic Mentorship, which pairs teens with volunteer mentors who aim to help them succeed in school through help with homework, organization, communication, and more.

Teen Employment Education

Located in Prescott. Serves Quad Cities. a resource of The Launch Pad Teen Center.

The Moon Cafe inside the Launch Pad provides a free healthy snack to teens daily, coffee and tea beverages and meals for purchase. The cafe is open to the public. The Moon Cafe offers an 8-month paid internship program for teens which hires new cohorts of 5 teens every 4 months. Project Launch is an employment education and community internship program offered through the Launch Pad every 4 months. Through The Launch Pad's All Access Pass program teens can get scholarships to any of our programs and one free meal per day from our cafe.

Teen Safe Space

Located in Prescott. Serves Quad Cities. a resource of The Launch Pad Teen Center.

The mission of The Launch Pad is to incite teen confidence and empowerment through innovative community education and engagement. The Launch Pad facilitates this by providing teens in Yavapai County with educational and social opportunities that encourage learning, active community involvement, and the development of skills to become successful, empowered, contributing members of society. TLP offers inclusive weekly clubs, support groups, tutoring, summer camps, and open space for teens 12-18. The facility has rooms dedicated to art, music, learning, mental health, and gaming, and staff ready to hang out and spend time with the fantastic teens in our community. Youth Agricultural Programs

Located in Prescott. Serves quad cities. a resource of 4-H Youth Development.

Giving youth that extra edge for life success by offering numerous opportunities to develop leadership, responsibility, citizenship and other life skills. 4-H is the largest youth organization in the United States and is open to youth ages 5-19. Youth can participate in a wide-range of hands-on projects from aerospace science, shooting sports, animal husbandry to cooking, leadership, citizenship and much, much more!

LOCATED IN PRESCOTT. SERVES YAVAPAI COUNTY. a resource of North Star Youth Partnership.

North Star Youth Partnership helps youth choose healthy lifestyle behaviors that prevent violence, gang activity, substance use, and teen pregnancy through an array of youth leadership programs that build self-confidence and equip them with a “toolkit” of life skills. Our youth leadership programs build leadership skills and truly engage youth in their communities. Participants develop self confidence and begin to see themselves as integral agents of change.

The Chino Valley library offers year round Chess Club for all ages. Storytimes for young children. Chess Club Mondays 3-6pm, Lego Club Tuesdays 3:15-4:15pm, Pet Partners (read to a dog) Thursdays 3:15-4:15pm, and often a variety of something on Fridays. Movie Events/Holiday Events/Craft Workshops for all ages, as well as our annual Free Summer Reading Program with live events and prizes. Offers after school programming. Call for details.
