Animal Disaster Services creates and maintains a free shelter for animals during emergency evacuations under the direction of Yavapai County Office of Emergency Management. Founded in 1999, we are a fully trained, all volunteer organization serving Yavapai County. Our shelter locations are normally close to the Red Cross evacuation centers.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office has launched a new Mass Notification service that allows us to alert you. You opt-in to enter your contact information and subscribe to notification you care about based on your location. The information you provide is protected and will not be used for any other purpose. When we issue a notification about a potential safety hazard or concern, you will receive a message on the voice or text communication methods that you have registered. If requested for the notification, you can confirm that you have received the message and you will not be contacted by any subsequent methods regarding that particular notification. If you do not confirm, the system will continue to attempt to reach you at all of the contact paths that you have registered.

LOCATED IN SEDONA. Serves Verde Valley. A resource of Verde Valley Oasis Reptile Ranch And Rescue.
Nonprofit reptile emergency rescue - rattlesnake rescues in the Sedona and Cottonwood area. Also an educational center for native and exotic reptiles, educating children in our area so they know what to do if they encounter a venomous or non venomous reptile while out on the trails or even in their back yard!

LASER - Large Animal Shelters and Emergency Readiness provides safe shelter for barn animals during evacuations in Yavapai County, as well as information for emergency preparedness. LASER has 2 dedicated shelter locations, open only during emergencies. Our largest and primary shelter, provided by Yavapai County, is in Prescott Valley. Our second shelter is in Chino Valley.
