Free Telecommunications Equipment for the Deaf, the Hard of Hearing and Speech Impaired

Located in Phoenix. Serves Yavapai County. a resource of Arizona Commission for the Deaf, the Hard of Hearing and Speech Impaired.

The Arizona Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (AzTEDP) provides FREE telecommunications equipment such as volume control telephones, TTYs, speech devices, and signaling/flashing/vibrating devices. This equipment no cost to U.S. citizens who reside in the state of Arizona and are CVHL (combined vision & hearing loss) or Speech-Impaired. ASL services provided.

Lifeline is a federally funded government program that provides millions of Americans with FREE wireless service every month. Q Link Wireless provides FREE Talk & Text plus Data to eligible Americans. You can keep your phone number. You can use a cell phone you already for free or use this program to purchase a cell phone or tablet at a discount. If you qualify for SNAP (Nutrition Assistance), Medicaid (AHCCCS) or SSI, you qualify for this program.

Tech Time program offers one-on-one time with a staff member to teach you how to navigate the world of computers, laptops, tablets, and phones. Assistance ranges from troubleshooting problems on your devices, to showing you how to use the device or any websites or programs. The program focuses on building skills and teaching you how to navigate technology, so that you have the confidence to do it yourself. Weekdays from 10am-1pm on a first come, first serve basis.
