Senior & Care Ministries
Located in Cottonwood. Serves Yavapai County. a resource of Mountain View United Methodist Church.
Outings, learning/ fellowship activities might include picnics, theme dinners or potlucks; tours; musical events; and, presentations on topics like scams targeting the elderly, driver awareness as we age, and home security for those living alone or with physical limitations. The church continues as a loving partner in the lifetime of its members and extends to hospital and hospice visitations along with prayers for the challenges of aging bodies and minds.

Offers non-medical support and assistance to senior and elderly community members throughout the Verde Valley. Recognizing that each individual has unique needs, C.O.A.S.T. approaches every situation with care and compassion. Their services include running errands, meal preparation, household assistance, locating local resources, providing respite for family caregivers and more.

Seniors in Sobriety (SIS) is a support group aimed at helping older adults achieve and maintain sobriety. This organization provides a safe space for seniors to discuss their experiences with alcohol and substance use and share coping strategies and support.
