Free Transport to Appointments - Medical and Non-Medical

LOCATED IN SEDONA. SERVES VERDE VALLEY. a resource of Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition.

Transportation is provided to neighbors who need rides to medical and other appointments, the grocery store, the pharmacy for medication pick up, hairdresser, bank, and post office. Provides services to seniors and adults with disabilities. Please call office to inquire about eligibility requirements. Navajo and Spanish language support available.

General Paratransit/Community Ride Programs

Located in Rimrock. Serves Verde Valley. A RESOURCE OF Beaver Creek Adult Center.

Provides a community ride program, call for more information. Additionally the Center provides information on community resources, free food, educational, social, and other special events and activities for adults.

Human & Community Services

Located in Cottonwood. Serves Verde Valley. a resource of NACOG (Area Agency on Aging)

Community Services help low-income individuals and families transition from public assistance to self-sufficiency. The process starts with an intake and counseling session led by a case manager, where the needs and eligibility of the applicants are assessed. Available services include bus fare and food vouchers.

Medical Transportation

Located in Cottonwood. Serves Verde Valley. A RESOURCE OF Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

DAV Department of Arizona operates a fleet of vehicles around the state to provide free transportation to VA medical facilities for injured and ill veterans. DAV stepped in to help veterans get the care they need when the federal government terminated its program that helped many of them pay for transportation to and from medical facilities. The vans are driven by volunteers, and the rides coordinated by more than 156 Hospital Service Coordinators around the country.

Offers free transportation services exclusively for residents of Rimrock and Lake Montezuma. While the rides are free, donations are encouraged to support the service.
