The Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) is Arizona’s statewide interagency system of services and supports for families of infants and toddlers, birth through two years of age, with disabilities or delays. AzEIP is established by Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which provides eligible children and their families access to services to enhance the capacity of families and caregivers to support the child’s development.

Arizona Rental Assistance Program

Arizona Rental Assistance alleviates housing instability for eligible low income seniors and families with children. Eligible households may receive a lump-sum assistance payment equal to three (3) times the household’s monthly rent, not to exceed $10,500. Benefits are paid to a landlord, if participating, or to a tenant directly, if a landlord does not or declines to participate. Prior recipients of rental assistance under the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) are not eligible for Arizona Rental Assistance.

Report Adult Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation

Arizona Adult Protective Services (APS) investigates reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults. APS may also become involved when there is a claim of self-neglect which is when an adult with physical or mental impairments is not able to meet their basic needs (such as food, shelter, health care, managing money, etc.) which then impacts the adult’s physical health, mental health or general safety. The goal of APS is to prioritize an adult’s right to make their own decisions while keeping them safe. Online Reporting Form 24 hours.

Senior Community Service Employment Program

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), also known as the Mature Worker Program, was authorized by the Older Americans Act in 1965 to assist low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55 years or older find employment. The program matches eligible mature adults with community service and work-based job training opportunities to help build skills and experience that lead to permanent employment and greater independence. Participants in the program receive supervised training in a community service assignment, either at a non-profit or governmental agency (often times referred to as a host agency) for an average of 20 hours per week. They are compensated at the higher of the federal, state or local minimum wage.

Senior Medicare Patrol

Serves Yavapai County.

The Senior Medicare Patrol is a group of professionally trained staff and volunteers who teach Medicare beneficiaries how to protect their personal information, identify and report errors on health care statements, recognize scams, prevent unnecessary services and charges for services that were not provided. Educates on fraud and abuse reporting to the proper authorities. This program is supported by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The Federal Bonding Program

This program helps "at risk" (ex-offenders, recovering substance abusers, people with poor credit, dishonorably discharged, persons lacking job history who are from low income families) job seekers to secure employment.
