Non profit 501(c)3 - Public adoption center for the entire Verde Valley and Yavapai County. Animal shelter by contract to the City of Cottonwood, the Town of Clarkdale, and unincorporated Yavapai County including the areas of Cornville, Rimrock, and the Village of Oak Creek. Animals for adoption on our website or call for an appointment to see our dogs (no appointment needed to see cats). All animals for adoption are spayed or neutered, have age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Dog Licening in Verde Valley
Located in cottonwood. Serves verde valley.
Dog licenses and dog tags are important. They are also the law.
A lost dog with a tag can quickly be returned to owners. Proof of rabies vaccination is required to purchase a license which protects communities from the spread of rabies. Licenses are generally required for all dogs over 3 months of age. Visit the Verde Valley Humane Society's website to view their guide on where to obtain a dog license depending on what city you in live in the Verde Valley.
